Unemployment & Job Cuts Through the Roof

noworkYahoo! News is reporting that the United States’ unemployment rate hit 8.1 percent in February as employers cut 651,000 jobs. The unemployment rate is the highest it has been since 1983.

The economy lost 681,000 jobs in December and another 655,000 in January. The number of unemployed in the US hit 12.5 million and the number of people who work part-time as they are unable to find full-time work hit 8.6 million. Furthermore, according to Yahoo! News, the hardest hit were blue and white-collar workers, those without a high school diploma, and those that are highly educated.

No wonder why I can’t find a job!
